Peer Review Process

The Editor-in-Chief of Edelweiss: Journal Of Innovation in Educational Research screens submissions for alignment with the journal's focus. Manuscripts that don't meet criteria or fail plagiarism checks are rejected. Acceptable submissions undergo double-blind peer review by two experts, with decisions communicated within two weeks. Review outcomes include decline, resubmit, revise, or accept. Revision requires a detailed response to feedback within two weeks, potentially leading to additional review rounds. Accepted manuscripts may require minor amendments before final publication confirmation

Once a manuscript clears preliminary evaluations, it is reviewed by two independent experts through a double-blind process, keeping author and reviewer identities confidential. Comments from this review remain private unless explicitly released by the reviewer. Authors receive a decision or status update within two months. If revisions are required, they must be submitted within two weeks. The Editor-in-Chief, guided by the peer review insights and publication ethics, makes the final publication decision.

We ensure that the reviewed manuscript is treated confidentially before publication ethics.

There are four types of editorial decisions during the double-blind peer review process, which are:

Decline submission  Resubmit for review   Revison   Accept submission

Decline Submission
After the double-blind peer review, if a paper is deemed unsuitable for publication in Edelweiss: Journal Of Innovation in Educational Research, it will be declined and cannot be resubmitted

Resubmit for review
If the initial submission to Edelweiss: Journal Of Innovation in Educational Research does not meet the required standards and needs substantial revisions, authors are encouraged to revise and resubmit it as a new submission. The suitability of the paper for publication remains in question until the authors can demonstrate that it aligns with the journal's standards and scope. The revised manuscript will ideally be reviewed by the same associate editor as before.

Revison
Before a final decision can be made on the manuscript, authors are required to make necessary revisions based on feedback from referees and editors and resubmit within two weeks. They must include a detailed response explaining how they addressed the comments. The revised paper may be subject to further double-blind reviews and possibly multiple rounds of revisions. Failure to satisfactorily revise the manuscript may result in its rejection from Edelweiss: Journal Of Innovation in Educational Research.

Accept submission
The paper has been conditionally accepted for publication, requiring specific edits and minor changes to meet the journal's standards. Once these adjustments are made and verified by the editorial team, the paper's acceptance will be finalized and and the paper is forwarded to the publishers for publication.
